Shannon Little

Hello and thank you for visiting!

My name is Shannon Little.

 

I graduated form the University of Nevada, Reno (Go Wolfpack!) with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing. For the past year I have been interning at Renown Health, a local not-for-profit hospital. To say the least, it has been a great experience right out of college and I can't wait to use the skills I've learned from my mentors and coworkers in future adventures.

 

Recently, I 've decided to dive back in to the student role and pursue an Associate of Applied Science degree in graphic communciations at Truckee Meadows Community College. From there, I most likely will be attending graduate school focusing on interactive media, but I'm taking one step at a time.

 

Beyond going to school, I'm a HUGE fan of the outdoors. While studying in the 'biggest, little city', I was introduced to snowboarding (then skiing) and immediately fell in love. Working at a local ski and snowboard shop, Bobo's Mogul Mouse, I solidified my love for the winter sport and found a true passion working within the industry. Working at the family owned shop, not only taught me everything about the industry but everything from merchandising, customer service, marketing B2C and B2B, event promotions and logistics, and managing a store front. But most of all it has taught me how to have and love what I'm doing while working.

 

You can find me on runs at Northstar during the winter, finding new trails to hike during the summer with my two dogs, fishing and camping, and taking photos of the endless beauty Reno has to offer. Reno might be the biggest, little city but it sure doesn't lack in the plentiful outdoor activities.
