Thyroid problems run through my family and I've always been curious if certain foods can do more harm than good while taking Thyroid medication. For Renown Health's blog, Best Medicine, I wrote this article and collaborated with an Endocrinologist to get a better understanding of the myths and facts of eating foods with Thyroid medications.
One thing I hate when cleaning the house is using harmful chemicals that can harm me and my dogs. I wrote 8 Homemade Cleaning Solutions using my favorite recipes for a DIY clean around your house. This article is on Renown Health's blog, Best Medicine, for the month of April.
Spring is about pretty flowers, baby animals and warmer weather. But it also comes with seasonal allergies. For the month of April on Renown Health's blog, Best Medicine, I wanted to explore natural remedies to help ease sniffle, sneezing and wheezing.
This is one of many infographics I helped design/edit and provide content.
During the Fall 2013 semester, I chose to take a Strategic Communication, Jour 351, as a marketing elective. Throughout the semester we learned about different strategies and tactics to attract customers and different types of media. The last project my team and I were assigned, was to create a business catering to gay males and theater majors, using different strategies and tactics. The link below provides the project through drop box.
This was my first attempt at a Strategic Audit Report for a required marketing course at University of Nevada, Reno. Being the first, my group and I produced a well graded summary explaining what Amazon.com should do in the future to increase profits and to maintain their place as the number one, online shopping website. The link below provides the project through dropbox.
From an early age, I've loved taking pictures wherever I went; whether it was traveling around the world, the latest music festivals, or hanging out with friends skiing. I haven't been published yet in any major works, but I hope to follow in my father's footsteps (he was a photographer for Marine World and had his photography has been published in numerous newspapers and magazines) and show everyone my love for the hobby and the adventures that I take through life. Not knowing what I wanted to be when I grew up, I started my time at Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) involved with their campus newspaper, The Echo. Starting as a reporter, then a staff editor, and finally editor-in-cheif, I learned so much about writing, creativity, photography, and newspaper layouts in a few short semesters. Looking back, I can see where I have improved, but it's always nice to look back at where you started. The link below will provide past examples from The Echo.
